Well I signed up Peter, but was kinda confusing.
But maybe because I have a googlemail account already.
When I went to ceate an account it took my details but then asked me to create a blog of my own.
So, I just signed in with my googlemail account and it worked fine.

I think I signed in, but I don't seem to be offered a space to start a new topic, so I'm just writing a comment for the moment. Like you, Chris, I already had a google. Glad to have a chance to reread Pete's story as I was so dim the first time I heard it.

Hey.. after a few blips i think i'm finally signed up! I can't believe a technophobe like me has become a blogger! Thanks for the help Pete. and it was reassuring to hear that other people experieced some initial difficulties!
